Sourav completed his B.Sc in Computer Science in Kolkata and initially started working in a small IT support role. The work mainly involved handling basic tickets and system issues, which did not give him exposure to data or modern technologies. Over time, he became interested in how companies manage large-scale data and make decisions using analytics, but he did not have the right technical skills to move ahead.

In the Data Engineer Training, he acquired knowledge about SQL, basics of Python, data pipeline, cloud, etc. sequentially. Initially, coding used to seem difficult to him, and he was confused about data pipelines too.
