Android Operating System is the biggest OS platform that is powering smartphones (more than 2 billion currently) worldwide since 2011 and tablets since 2013. As of January 2021, the Google Play Store has around 3 million Android-powered apps. Android OS is an Open and free source software and its source code is known as Android Open Source Project (ASOP) and it is licensed under the Apache License.
