Sathish, a BCA graduate, started his career as a support executive where most of his daily work involved checking application issues and forwarding technical problems to development teams. While working, he became interested in software testing because he enjoyed identifying errors and understanding how applications behaved under different conditions. However, he had limited experience with automation tools.
He joined the Playwright Training in Tambaram at FITA Academy to build practical automation knowledge. During the training, he worked on JavaScript basics, browser interactions, locators, assertions, test execution, debugging, and end-to-end testing. The trainer used application-based examples to explain how automation scripts could be planned and maintained. Sathish also completed practice assignments and a project that gave him an opportunity to create automated test scenarios independently.
As the training progressed, Sathish grew more comfortable writing test scripts and explaining his testing approach. The placement team helped him refine his resume and prepare for technical interviews. After completing the course and attending interviews, he secured a Junior Automation Test Engineer position. The Playwright training gave him hands on testing experience and helped him move from application support into a testing focused role.
